One of our songs that we sing is “He’s done so much for me, I cannot tell it all”. I can honestly say that is very true, but I can tell you how it all started. It was something like this:
I grew up in a Pentecostal family that went to church several times a week. It is the great theme of the church to win the lost to Christ, with that in mind they preached for results. They desired to see people’s lives transformed by the power of God and had altar services every time they gathered. Many people had a part in my conversion, from my Uncle Paul who used to come over to our house and pray for everyone anointing us with oil, my parents and as well as by everyone in church that knew us. I was asked to sing at an early age, the first song being…Had it Not Been. I loved being in those anointed services and often went up into the prayer line at 5 or 6 years old just to be with them, one time I began weeping. Around the age of 8 years old during an altar call, Pastor Jim Davis from Franklin, Ohio asked for people to come forward to pray. My momma nudged me with her elbow, looked over at me and asked if I’d like to go, I started crying and she walked me down the aisle.
I suppose I said more with my tears because I cried a long time. I did manage to say “Come into my heart, forgive me and I’ll do anything you want me to do.” That was 43 years ago! As of today I have held many positions in the church and have Pastored 23 years. God has truly been good to me, I cannot tell it all. My life was changed and I feel like He rescued me from a life of torment and shame. Every day of my life I think about it and ask God what else can I do for you? I love God with all my heart, live for Him the best I know how and try to lead others to know how merciful and kind our Heavenly Father is.
How could I not ask you to consider today, would you let Christ come into your heart too? Just follow these 3 very simple steps:

- Repent of your sins, “Lord Jesus I am sorry for all the sins I have committed.”
- Ask Him to come into your Heart, “I receive you now as the Lord of my Life and turn my back on my old ways.”
- Praise Him for Salvation. “Thank you for saving me, please help me to live for you from this day forward.
