This morning's sermon was over Matthew 26:6-13. In this portion of text, Jesus is anointed at Bethany with a very expensive jar of perfume by a woman. The disciples became angry, indignant, and scornful of the woman. The disciples let this beautiful act of honoring Jesus get under their skin! Instead of focusing on the woman's act of worship, they were focusing on how expensive the perfume is. Take a moment to think...What are you letting under your skin? Are you letting conflict defeat your inner peace? Whatever it is that you are needing from God today or are facing, be encouraged today that we serve the God of peace. Prayer is the answer to any conflict, big or small. Spend some time today thinking about how God has been good to you, seek His face, and watch what happens to your conflict.
