What We Do:
Our Kid's Ministry here at Maplewood PCG is packed full of Bible stories, discussions, crafts, coloring, games, and MORE! We learn about God and how to tell our friends about the difference God can make in their lives. Everything is made relevant to your child in a fun, engaging way.
Our mission is to provide children with the opportunity to explore the greatness of God in an exciting, fun, and creative atmosphere. We encourage children to positively impact their neighborhood and community, "their own backyards," by sharing God's love.

Current series: FAITH IN ACTION!
We are putting our faith into action this January! We are studying in the Bible why it's important to be bold with our faith and share the difference God has made in our lives with others. This Sunday we are on part 2 of our Faith in Action series. Our lesson will be "See the Need, Meet the Need." When we show we care, we help others understand that God loves them and wants to provide them with their needs and blessings. The full lesson overview is available on our January newsletter below.

Meet our Kid's Ministry Director, Lindsey!
I have been the Kid's Ministry Director here at Maplewood PCG for about 10 years. I am a fully certified Early Childhood Educator. I currently work as a kindergarten assistant for a local school district. I love working with kids and empowering them to become all that God says they can be! Being a mentor to these children is so important to me. I love to have fun right along side them and support them by sharing my experiences. I am a strong believer that children have the amazing ability to make a difference for Christ and become bold, Godly leaders! Two of the things I really strive to teach children in our Kid's Ministry is the power and importance of prayer, and that they don't have to wait until they "grow up" to see amazing things happen. God says right now and every day, great things can happen when we say "Yes!" to God and follow his lead in our life. I remind our children often of what it means to be a "prayer warrior." It is so important that our children learn to fight in prayer daily for the needs and blessings of others, ourselves, as well as over situations.
Thanks for taking the time to read about me and my work as our Kid's Ministry Director. It is an honor to have the opportunity to work with all of our families and be a part of your child's life as their friend and mentor in Christ. I encourage you to bring your child along to church Sunday! It would be great to meet your family.
