Our Motto:
"We are never too young to tell others
the love and power of God." -True Images
Our mission:
Our mission is to provide children with the opportunity to explore the greatness of God in an exciting, fun, and creative atmosphere. We encourage children to positively impact their neighborhood and community, "their own backyards," by sharing God's love.
What We Do:
Our Kid's Ministry here at Maplewood PCG is packed full of Bible stories, discussions, crafts, coloring, games, and MORE! We learn about God and how to tell our friends about the difference God can make in their lives. Everything is made relevant to your child in a fun, engaging way.

What's the Latest? (Updates)
Current series: Grow Inside
|
We are starting a new 4 week series about growing spiritually strong through Jesus called "Grow Inside." Each week we will discuss a new way to grow!
Week 1: This week we will learn why it is important to grow spiritually in God and ways we can grow. We will read Luke 2:41-52 where Jesus' parents find him in a Jerusalem Temple discussing with the teachers. Jesus at a young age understood that "he must be about his father's business." We, too, have been called by God to grow in Him in order to carry out our father God's business and introduce others to a new life in Christ by sharing our stories of how we have grown and been transformed. -Lindsey C |
Meet our Kid's Ministry Director, Lindsey!
Hey there!
I have been the Kid's Ministry Director here at Maplewood PCG for about 10 years. I am a fully certified Early Childhood Educator. I currently work as a preschool teacher for a local private school. I love working with kids and empowering them to become all that God says they can be! Being a mentor to these children is so important to me. I love to have fun right along side them and support them by sharing my experiences. I am a strong believer that children have the amazing ability to make a difference for Christ and become bold, Godly leaders! Two of the things I really strive to teach children in our Kid's Ministry is the power and importance of prayer, and that they don't have to wait until they "grow up" to see amazing things happen. God says right now and every day, great things can happen when we say "Yes!" to God and follow his lead in our life. I remind our children often of what it means to be a "prayer warrior." It is so important that our children learn to fight in prayer daily for the needs and blessings of others, ourselves, as well as over situations. Thanks for taking the time to read about me and my work as our Kid's Ministry Director. It is an honor to have the opportunity to work with all of our families and be a part of your child's life as their friend and mentor in Christ. I encourage you to bring your child along to church Sunday! It would be great to meet your family. -Lindsey C., Kid's Ministry Director |
