Seeing the snow outside reminded me of a scripture found in Isaiah 1:18, which says, "Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." (NIV) We are reminded that God's forgiveness and grace makes everything more beautiful as the snow does. The conditions of this forgiveness and grace are that we simply sit down and reason with Him that his ways are better and that we need help. He offers peace that we don't have, grace that we need, and His mercy to make it happen. We can be a part of that mediation by bringing His grace to our friends! People usually don't know what they need, although they think they know what they want, but Christ has something far better than we can imagine.
